Ed to Predrag: I recommend that you turn on wqxr tomorrow at 12:00 New York time. There is a program by Jellenek in which he plays eight tenors singing the same aria (not all at once). If you can do it, please record it so that I can hear it some day.

Stroke diagnosis

Dr. Gutin (from Sloan-Kettering) just called to report that the radiologists say that Barbara had a stroke that caused her speech problems. It took up dye in the manner of a tumor but is now on the mend. For confirmation of this diagnosis we must await the next MRI on June 28.

I never expected to feel relieved at hearing that B. had a stroke. Now that is relativity in the popular sense.
